The library is a vital part of our learning community with all classes visiting the library at least once each week. We offer a wide selection of books, and this is supplemented by the Selwyn District Council Mobile Library which visits the school every second Wednesday.

Children are encouraged to select recreational reading books during their class sessions. They are also taught information literacy skills. The Library OPAC (Accessit) is available from all computers in the school.

The Library is open during lunchtimes for the children to borrow books and carry out research. Our wonderful Library team oversee children whilst they are in the library and are available to help them with any questions. We also have an able team of student librarians.

The library offers activities throughout the year such as Literacy Week, and National Library Week. The student librarians also offer various lunchtime activities.
